A Hull woman's been jailed for 7 years after robbing two vulnerable men and threatening them with a knife.

25 year old Charlotte Newton of Gleneagles Park is reported to have entered a man's house.

She then held a bread knife under the chin of a 74 year old man and his friend before leaving with more than a hundred pounds in cash.

Newton appeared at Hull Crown Court yesterday (Monday 25 April)

Judge John Thackray said:

“I saw very clearly that there was not one jot of genuine remorse. Significant sentences must follow for those that target the most vulnerable in society.”
