A Hull man will spend nine years in jail for historic child sexual offences.
They were committed more than a decade ago.
42-year-old Dean Parsons from Philip Larkin Close in the city pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault.
But at Hull Crown Court he was found guilty of 10 counts relating to offences committed between 2005 and 2011
Officer in the case DC Beth Barker said:
"Firstly, I would like to praise the decision of Parsons’ victims in coming forward. I know it can seem daunting to take that first step but, by reporting these offences to us, they have helped us bring this abhorrent and twisted man to justice.
"I would like to express my sincere thanks to his victims for their incredible bravery and courage throughout the investigation and judicial process. I hope the guilty verdict and sentencing can provide them with the chance to seek some closure.
"We take reports of sexual assault and sexual offences incredibly seriously. I would like to reassure anyone who may have suffered sexual abuse that, if you come to us, we will listen and we will support you in taking action against those responsible.
"All victims are encouraged to speak to us or partner agencies – when they are ready – whether they decide to pursue through the justice system or not.
"You will be believed, and we will thoroughly investigate your report.
"If you have been the victim of rape of sexual assault, you can speak to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, or you can report directly through our 101 number, or 999 in an emergency."
