Hull KR fined over homophobic chanting at Sewell Craven Park
The Rugby League club "co-operated fully" with the investigation

Hull KR have been fined £4,000 - half of which has been suspended - after homophobic chanting was heard at home games this season, the Rugby Football League has announced.
The Betfred Super League club was investigated by the RFL after several complaints were made about the nature of chanting at games at Sewell Craven Park this season.
It concluded that an offensive term was aimed at one or more visiting players at three separate home fixtures.
The punishment means the club will also now be required to pay a separate suspended a £2,000 fine imposed for fan misbehaviour earlier this season.
A statement from the RFL read:
"Hull KR have been fined £4,000, with £2,000 of it suspended, following several complaints about homophobic chanting from their supporters during Betfred Super League fixtures at Sewell Group Craven Park this season."
The governing body confirmed that Rovers had co-operated fully with the investigation and highlighted work the club are now doing to prevent further issues.
The statement added:
"The RFL have welcomed their (Rovers') plans to introduce improved CCTV systems for the 2023 season, to continue and step up their work with supporter groups and stewards, and a number of other initiatives, including the launch of a text service for supporters to alert the club to unacceptable behaviour in real time."
