A man's died after a collision between his bicycle and a car at Holderness in the East Riding on Saturday night (26th June).

It happened on the A1033 Patrington Road between Ottringham and Patrington around 9pm say Humberside Police.

Officers report a car veering onto the wrong side of the road, striking the bike and ending up in a ditch.

A man's been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and being over the legal limit.

The family of the victim who succumbed to his injuries at the scene are being supported by specialist Police officers at this time.
