Bomb hoax at Primary School in Hull

Children at Highlands Primary School in Hull were evacuated after a bomb threat

Police were called at 10.39am on Wednesday by Highlands Primary School, Lothian Way, Hull reporting that they had received a bomb threat at the school.

As a precaution the Head Teacher decided to evacuate the school.

At this time the incident is believed to be a Hoax and part of a series of similar incidents at schools across the country.

Humberside Police are attending to offer reassurance and investigate any offences of making a bomb hoax.

The school posted this update earlier on Facebook to assure parents the evacuation was a precaution
