Body Of Hull Born Businessman Found Following AirAsia Crash

The body of Hull-born businessman Choi Chi Man has been recovered from the crashed AirAsia plane.

The 48 year old's body has been identified and his family have been informed, the Foreign Office said. A total of 155 passengers and seven crew were killed when the Airbus plane, Flight QZ8501, crashed in bad weather during a flight from Surabaya in Indonesia to Singapore on December 28. A Foreign Office spokesman confirmed positive identification'' of the British victim.His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. We continue to provide assistance to the family,'' he said. Mr Choi is thought to have been travelling with his daughter Zoe on tickets bought on Boxing Day. He is believed to have held a British passport but to have lived in Singapore with his family.
