Body found in search for missing man in Hull
Officers had been searching for Thomas Marwan who disappeared five days ago
A body's been found in the search for a missing man from Hull.
Thomas Marwan disappeared on Tuesday 10th January.
Police have confirmed a man’s body was discovered near Morley Street earlier today.
Superintendent Paul Butler said, “This is a tragic incident, with an outcome that no one wanted to see.
“Thomas was reported missing on Tuesday 10 January, having last been seen in the Sculcoates area.
“Although formal identification has yet to take place, Thomas’ family have been informed and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.
“Initial enquiries have been carried out and his death is not being treated as suspicious."
