16 year old boy charged with attempted murder following serious assault in Hull

A 16 year old boy has been charged with attempted murder following an assault in Hull. It's after another boy was attacked on Woodbine Close around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

He's said to be recovering well.

Now a 16 year old has been charged with attempted murder and also possession of a knife in a public place and will appear at Hull Magistrates Court today (Thursday 23rd September)

Two other people arrested in connection with the assault have been released on police bail with conditions whilst another has been released under investigation.

Humberside Police say:

"Officers have been continuing their highly visible presence in the area and working with community leaders to provide reassurance. We would continue to encourage anyone with concerns to speak with officers"
