12 year old boy punched in the face in Hull

Police are appealing after a 12 year old boy was punched in the face in Hull. It happened on Sunday night at around 5pm.

A spokesperson from Humberside Police said:

"A boy has reported being assaulted at around 5pm on 12 March, as he rode his bike on Appleton Road in Hull.

"A teenage boy, described as being white, 16 years-old, around 5' 4", with dark brown curly hair, is alleged to have stopped the 12 year-old as he rode his bike and punched him in the face.

"The 16 year-old suspect was accompanied by a woman in her 30s who was driving a black Fiat 500.

"If you witnessed this incident we would ask you to call our non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 2256499."
