WATCH: British ventriloquist wins America's Got Talent

British ventriloquist Paul Zerdin has won this year's America's Got Talent. The 43-year-old is from London and beat out two other British acts as well as 7 other acts to win the competition.

Zerdin won $1m (£645,000) and the chance to headline his own Las Vegas show. He is the second ventriloquist to win, after Terry Fator who went on to have his own Las Vegas residency.

Zerdin is a successful performer in the UK and has appeared at the Royal Variety Performance an impressive three times.
