Former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas announced his wife Caroline had given birth to a beautiful baby girl last night, and now the proud parents have announced her stunning name to the world.
After showing his little bundle of joy off in a super cute family photo on Instagram, Adam's wife Caroline has now taken to her own social media pages to reveal they've decided to call her Elsie-Rose. Sharing a photo of herself cradling her newborn, Caroline wrote, 'Welcome to the Thomas family Elsie-Rose 💗'. sic

Adam, who played the role of Adam Barton in the ITV soap Emmerdale, first announced the couple's happy news on social media last night (Monday 21st May). Sharing an adorable photo of his wife, his son Teddy, his dog, and his newborn daughter, Adam wrote, 'I owe you everything @carolinethomas23 ❤️' sic
Adam and Caroline married at Gary Barlow's former mansion in Cheshire last year, with the couple surrounded by their friends, family and Adam's Emmerdale co-stars for the big day.
During the couple's big day, Adam's brothers, Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and Love Island star Scott Thomas, made emotional speeches.
Ryan, who is best known for playing the role of Jason Grimshaw in the soap, admitted he felt 'blessed' to have his family around him. He said, "I didn’t write my speech because it felt like it would all come together. Today is about all my family being together and I wanted to reflect that.
"There’s a lot of love between me, Adam and Scott and that’s all I care about. The three of us have always been ridiculously close, we’re super blessed."
