Supporting young people in Driffield

There are a wide range of activities such as crafts, sports, cooking and gaming for them participate in. Members often talk about their frustrations on the lack of social outlets for them in an isolated, geographically rural county with no other regular local opportunities for them to get together, have fun and socialise.

Thanks to a grant to purchase sports equipment the group can further develop and improve their general health and well-being through taking part in sporting activities. Over 80 young children of all ages will benefit which is fantastic and fits into Viking FM’s Cash for Kids aims of supporting local children most in need.
