Withernsea in Top Ten 'Cheap' Seaside Towns

Withernsea is one of the cheapest seaside towns in Britain.

It's in the top ten according to some new research based on average house prices.

In Withernsea - which came ninth - properties typically cost around £92,000.

In the most expensive place, Salcombe, down south in Devon, homes there cost more than seven times that at just over £670,000.

Over the last 10 years though, the average house price in a seaside town has increased by almost a third, meaning they've added around £410 a month to their value over the last decade.
