Two in hospital with knife wounds after Hull 'domestic incident'
Police were called to Grafton Street in Hull on Wednesday evening to reports of a domestic incident between a man and woman.
Police were called to Grafton Street in Hull shortly before 8.45pm on Wednesday July 20 to reports of a domestic incident between a man and woman. A 47-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman had both sustained knife wounds and were taken by ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary. Both have been admitted to hospital for treatment and at this time neither is thought to have life threatening injuries. At this time it is believed the incident was contained between the two injured parties and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. No arrests have been made. The scene was cordoned off to allow for a proper examination of the scene and detectives are speaking to witnesses to determine the circumstances. Armed response officers were initially sent to the scene due to uncertainty about what had happened. They attended and were stood down a short time later.
