A year on from a devastating rugby injury that almost cost him his life - a Hull teenager has told Viking how every day is still a struggle.

15-year-old Connor Lynes suffered a blood clot on his brain and collapsed in his bedroom - the day after he was heavily tackled while playing for his local team.

He spent weeks in a coma and almost died.

He's no longer able to play sports and also has trouble socialising as a result of the almost-fatal accident this time last year.

Connor has been re-living the incident and you can watch a video interview with him below:

Connor's Aunt, Sara Lynes, says it's hard seeing how much Connor's life has changed since the accident. You can watch a video interview with Sara below:

Connor - who now runs a charity helping others - is today raising awareness of brain injury in sport and is asking people to change their profile picture on Facebook and Twitter to the charity's logo.
