North Lincolnshire woman whose husband died in Iraq hopes Chilcot will provide "truth and closure"

A North Lincolnshire woman whose husband was killed during the Iraq war hopes today's publication of the Chilcot Inquiry will provide families with "truth and closure".

Kris O' Neill, along with his three colleagues, died after being hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq in April 2007. He was just 27 years old.

Not only did he leave behind his wife, Tina O' Neill, but his two young twin sons.

Tina, who lives in Kirton Lindsey in North Lincolnshire, is at Westminster this morning where the 7-year inquiry into the conflict will be delievered to families.

She told Viking how she hopes the report can provide the answers families need to be able to move on.

The Chilcot Iraq report - which will be published at 11am - will look at lessons learned from the conflict.

It will cover the run-up to the March 2003 invasion of Iraq, military action and the aftermath of the conflict.
