Published 3rd Feb 2015

A man accused of murdering a woman, found dead in a Hull hotel room, has appeared in court this morning. 51 year old Deland Allman made his first appearance before Hull and Holderness magistrates. He was arrested on Sunday night, after the body of Christina Randell, who was also 51, was found at the Ibis in the city centre hours earlier. We don't know how she died yet as tests are still ongoing. Allman will remain in custody until he makes his next appearance at Hull Crown Crown tomorrow (6 February).

Christina Randell’s family are continuing to be supported by specially trained officers.
