Man arrested after explosives found at Hull industrial estate

A man has been arrested after explosives were found at industrial premises in Hawthorn Avenue in Hull.
Humberside Police and the Ministry of Defence carried out a raid on the unit on the estate earlier today and say "a number of explosives" were found.
A 24-year-old local man, a trader, has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
A bomb disposal team remain at the scene as officers continue to investigate.
Nearby businesses also had to be evacuated.
