Elderly Man Dies After Being Hit by a Car in Scunthorpe
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 92 year old man's died following a collision in Scunthorpe.
An elderly man's died days after being hit by a car in Scunthorpe.
Humberside police is appealing for witnesses who saw what happened on Tuesday 23 December to contact them.
It's thought the 92 year old pedestrian, from Luddington, was knocked down by a silver Mercedes on Purbeck road at around 11am.
He suffered a leg injury and was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital for treatment but died some days following the collision.
Police are appealing for witnesses to establish the circumstances of the collision and ask anyone with information to call police on 101 quoting log number 180 of 23 December 2014.
