One Direction To Earn Over $1bn In 2014
One Direction are set to earn $1 billion (that's ÂŁ661m) by this time next year.
Recent reports have estimated that the One Direction boys are set to earn in excess of $1bn (ÂŁ661m) over the coming 12 months. That's more than ÂŁ132m per band member!
This billion dollar profit is all thanks to the popularity of their upcoming 'Where We Are' tour, which is predicted to sell-out across all 88 dates. The highly-anticipated World tour will see the boys perform in various high-capacity stadiums in 19 different countries.
The tour is predicted to break the record currently held by U2's '360' tour which grossed ÂŁ447m during its run from 2009-11.
"It would be amazing for 1D to climb to the very top of the tour league so early in their career," a spokesperson for One Direction told the Daily Star.
The news comes days after Simon Cowell revealed via his twitter account that One Direction were the biggest selling artists of 2013.
