The Royal couple will see preparations for a concert in honour of the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

They will also meet the crew and learn more about the technical production.

Newly-appointed MBE Bonnie Tyler, John Owen-Jones, local choirs and younger performers are among the line-up.

The commemorations in Wales started on Thursday with a 42 Royal Gun Salute in Cardiff Bay and music festival. Beacons have been lit, communities have organised parades and street parties to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
