Welsh supermarkets resume selling non-essential items as lockdown eases slightly

Some aisles have been taped off for months because of Covid restrictions

Stores are now able to sell books, electrical items and clothing once again

From today, Covid restrictions in Wales are relaxing slightly with supermarkets now able to sell non essential items.

It follows months of aisles of books, clothing and electricals being taped off.

Garden centres are also re-opening from today.

If the public health situation remains positive, all shops will be able to open from the 12th of April - the same date as in England.
