There will be Welsh involvement this morning in the penultimate game of the Women's World Cup in Australia.

Referee Cheryl Foster is set to take charge of the third-place play-off match between Sweden and Australia at Lang park in Brisbane.

It is the fourth game Foster, who previously refereed the final of the UEFA Women's Champions League, has overseen in this year's tournament.

The Bangor-born referee became the first person from Wales to officiate at a World Cup finals since Clive Thomas, who took charge of the Sweden - Brazil game at the men's tournament in 1978.

Kick-off is at 9.00am, British time.
