Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after Newport death
A man died outside a house on Heron Way on Friday
Two people are being questioned on suspicion of murder after the death of a man in Newport.
Gwent Police were called to an address on Heron Way at around 4:40pm on Friday afternoon after a man was having a medical emergency outside a house.
The 51 year old died at the scene.
Two men - a 27 year old and 39 year old - are being questioned on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Nicholas Wilkie said: “Officers will be making further enquiries at this time and will remain at the scene as the investigation progresses.
“It is possible that you may see ongoing police activity in Newport as part of this work, but please do not be alarmed.
