Two arrested after mass disturbance in Cardiff

Six people treated in hospital, three are believed to have stab wounds

Police are investigating after a large disturbance in Cardiff City Centre which left three people with stab wounds.

Multiple reports of a violent incident on Queen Street were received by police at around ten to ten lat night

Six people are being treated at the University Hospital of Wales with various injuries.

One person suffered head injuries and remains in a serious condition, while three others are believed to have sustained stab wounds.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and are currently in custody in Cardiff Bay.

An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances.
