Third teenager (14) arrested following Gorseinon stabbing

The 14 year-old victim is in a stable condition in hospital

Another 14 year-old boy has been arrested following an incident in Gorseinon which left a 14 year-old boy in a critical condition with stab wounds.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Raikes from South Wales Police said:

“Following the incident at Gorseinon Bus Station yesterday evening a third 14 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

"All three boys remain in police custody.

“The 14 year old boy who suffered stab wounds remains in University Hospital of Wales where he is being treated for his injuries. He is in a stable condition.”

Officers are trying to trace anybody else who was in the area at the time, and may have witnessed the assault, or has information regarding those involved.

They are especially keen to hear from those that may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area between 5.45pm and 6.15pm yesterday evening, Thursday 10th February.
