Sam Stewart-Ball will cover 852 miles with his dad, following the Cornish Coastline, into South West England, then over to South Wales and head up to Llandudno.

The year eight pupil is doing it for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in support of his nine-year-old sister Isabel who has Type 1 Diabetes.

The journey is expected to take Sam, who is competing alongside his dad Duncan, 10 to 12 days.

They will be carrying their own equipment and sleeping in a tent at night. Sam will be wearing a GPS transponder, so you will be able to track his progress throughout the race, using his race number 4517 at: www.maprogress.com. He will also be updating his blog on Instagram.
