Man injured in 'industrial incident' at Tata Steel in Port Talbot

A man has been injured in an industrial incident at the Tata Steel steelworks in Port Talbot.
Emergency services were called to the site last night, with police confirming a 46 year old man was taken to hospital.
His injuries are described as 'possibly life-changing'.
In a statement, a spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "Shortly before 8.20pm last night (Thursday 17 August) emergency services were called to Tata Steel following an industrial incident.
"A 46-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the university Hospital of Wales, Cardiff with what are described as possibly life-changing injuries.
"The Health and Safety Executive has been informed."
