Pontypridd man bailed by police following serious assault in Liverpool city centre
The 24 year old suffered serious head injuries in the early hours of Saturday
Merseyside Police say a 40 year old man from Pontypridd who was arrested following a serious assault in Liverpool city centre on Saturday has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
A 24 year old man from Northern Ireland was assaulted and found on the floor on Bold Street near Central Station around 1am on Saturday.
Police say he's now in a stable condition in hospital.
6 other men from south Wales who were arrested on suspicion of drug offences have also been released under investigation.
