Masks no longer needed for many indoor places in Wales
Face coverings are still mandatory for shops and healthcare settings
Rules on wearing face masks to protect against Coronavirus are being lifted in a number of indoor places in Wales.
The change means people across Wales are no longer legally required to wear face coverings in a range of indoor places, including cinemas, theatres, community centres, museums and gyms.
However, masks will remain mandatory for adults and children over 11, unless exempt, in all retail settings, on public transport and in health and care settings.
School pupils won't need them in the classroom, but secondary pupils will carry on wearing them on school buses and in communal areas.
Official guidance will also continue to highlight the importance of face coverings as one means of helping keep people safe.
Later this week, First Minister Mark Drakeford will give an update with how the Welsh Government plans to manage the pandemic in the long term.
