Two men and a woman arrested after teenager stabbed in Cardiff

The 18 year-old was seriously injured in incident in Callaghan Square

Detectives are investigating a serious assault which occurred at approximately 3am in Callaghan Square, Cardiff on Saturday morning.

An 18 year-old man was admitted to hospital with puncture wounds following the incident, which are serious but not life threatening.

Three people - two men and a woman - have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

Detective Inspector Matthew Cox said:

“Officers made arrests soon after the incident was reported. Understandably such incidents can cause worry within our communities.

“Tackling knife crime is a priority for South Wales Police and we want to hear from anyone who has information about this incident.”
