Cyclist suffers 'life-changing' injuries in Pentwyn collision
Police have launched a witness appeal
A cyclist has suffered 'life-changing' injuries following a collision with a car in Cardiff.
The 48 year old man was rushed to hospital following the incident at Springwood, in Pentwyn, on Friday evening.
South Wales Police have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Inspector Mike Prickett, from the South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit, said:
“Shortly after 5pm Friday 19 May, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision at Springwood, Pentwyn.
“The collision involved a car and a bicycle.
“The cyclist, a 48-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
“Anyone with information is asked to us and quote reference 2300162799.”
