Temperatures across Wales have plummeted with mid and northern areas seeing a weather warning for ice

Forecasters say there's a chance of wintry showers especially over the higher ground.

The yellow alert is in place until 10 o clock on Monday morning.

The Met Office says this latest cold snap is expected to stay with us through this week with chilly and dry conditions with sunny spells.
