Two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Middlesbrough.

A man is in a ‘stable’ condition in hospital after a report of a stabbing at Middlesbrough Bus Station yesterday evening, Monday 20th November.

The incident happened just after 5pm when two males approached an 18-year-old man and he suffered multiple stab wounds.

The man was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains whilst receiving treatment and is described as being in a ‘stable’ condition.

Two men aged 17 and 21 were arrested by police on suspicion of attempted murder and they remain in police custody at this time.

A police presence remains in the bus station this morning, whilst enquiries continue.

Officers would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident as there were many people in the bus station at the time. Anyone who has not already spoken with police is asked to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 230059.
