Teenager sexually assaulted by man in Middlesbrough street
The girl was attacked by a man in an alley off Castle Way last Friday
Police in Middlesbrough are investigating, after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man in an alley off Castle Way.
It happened around 9pm on Friday the 19th of November.
The suspect is described by the victim as “fat”, wearing a big blue coat with hooded jackets underneath with the hoods up. He was carrying a can of Stella and smelled of alcohol.
An unknown male member of the public assisted in pulling away the male suspect and ensured that the victim got home.
Officers are appealing for this member of the public to contact them, by calling 101 and quoting incident number 211166.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have CCTV in the area around Castle Way is also asked to contact Cleveland Police.
