Police tackle organised crime in Stockton
Cleveland Police carried out a week of targeted action across the borough
Police officers in Stockton are continuing enquiries - after spending last week tackling organized crime.
Police executed a warrant at an address on Wren Street as well as numerous searches of other addresses, with suspected Class A drugs being discovered.
Six vehicles were also seized and now form part of on-going investigations.
Seventeen males (aged from 17 to 41) were arrested on suspicion of a variety of offences including:
• Conspiracy to commit GBH
• Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
• Criminal damage
• Assault
• Possession of an offensive weapon
• Driving offences.
They were all interviewed and either released under investigation or on bail while enquiries continue.
