Stockton - Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Stockton in which a 54-year-old man was stabbed in the chest.

The man remains in police custody.

An investigation began after police were called to the incident on Burgess Street at around 8:40pm on 9th November.

The victim is in hospital in a stable condition
