Redcar robbery - can you help Cleveland Police.
Redcar CID are asking members of the public for information, CCTV or dashcam footage following a report of a robbery at a shop in Fabian Court, Grangetown.
At around 11.33am yesterday (Sunday June 20) a man wearing a balaclava and dark clothing is reported to have entered the ‘Greetings from Talkabout’ store.
The man is reported to have been carrying some kind of bladed article and demanded cash before running off.
Officers immediately attended and cordoned off the area earlier today as they carried out enquiries.
Anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area before 11.30am or witnessed any part of this incident is asked to call police.
Detectives are particularly keen to see dashcam, CCTV or phone footage which may assist. Please call 101, reference 101204.
