Rachel Wilson murder remains unsolved 14 years on

The Middlesbrough woman was last seen on Southfield Road in May 2002 and her remains were found near Coulby Newham in 2012.

Police say they're continuing to investigate the murder of Middlesbrough woman Rachel Wilson, fourteen years after her disappearance.

Rachel was last seen on CCTV footage from the Southfield Road area of Middlesbrough on th morning of 31st May 2002.

She was 19-years-old at the time.

Her family made numerous press appeals for her safe return and police inquiries began.

Her remains were found near Coulby Newham in June 2012 and a murder investigation was launched, with a dedicated team of staff following the case.

A man was arrested in June 2014 and again in February of this year on suspicion of Rachel's murder. He's been released on bail.
