Police confirm the identity of a man found dead in Marske
Steven McGowan, 47, was discovered by firefighters tackling a blaze
A man discovered deceased in Marske has been named by police as 47-year-old Steven McGowan.
Police were called to an address on Wheatacre Close by Cleveland Fire Brigade at around 2.15am on Wednesday 9th June where they were dealing with a house fire. On arrival a man from inside the address was discovered deceased.
A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
