Suspect arrested after alleged burglary in Norton

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following an incident on Sunday 2nd July at an address on Japonica Way in Norton.
It was reported that a woman in her 70s was tied up and threatened before her bank card was stolen.
The man remains in police custody at this time.
Cleveland Police are asking for any CCTV footage in the area between 3.00am and 6.00am to help with enquiries.
