Durham Police are hoping to trace a teenager who hasn’t been seen for more than a week.

T-JAY GIBSON, aged 14 was last seen in Willington on Tuesday, March 7, near to Parkside Academy, since then various enquiries to try and trace him have drawn a blank.

He is slim, with short, mousey brown hair. When last seen he was wearing black trousers, white shirt and a black blazer but is thought to be in the possession of grey jogging bottoms and purple Nike trainers.

“T-Jay is known to have connections in the South Shields area and we are working with our colleagues from Northumbria Police to try and locate him. Because of his age we are concerned for his welfare and would ask anyone who knows where he may be to contact us,” said PC Lee Garside, Durham City Police.

Please ring police on 101 if you have any information which would help locate T-Jay.
