Man seriously injured in Middlesbrough collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, around 3pm on Tuesday 8th November.

A male pedestrian, aged in his sixties, was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries after the collision involving a grey Ford Focus.

He remains there whilst receiving treatment.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 202262.
