Man charged with murder in Middlesbrough

Officers investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in an address on Tomlinson Way, Middlesbrough have charged a 24-year-old man with murder.

The woman, who has yet to be formally identified, was found just before 9am on Sunday 7th October.

Stephen Charlton of Tomlinson Way will appear in court today (Tuesday 9th Oct).

Officers are continuing to appeal for information and ask people to call the non-emergency number 101 quoting 18466
