APPEAL: Group of men break into Hartlepool home with weapons

No one was hurt, but a large amount of cash was taken.

Police are appealing for information after a group of men with weapons broke into a home in Hartlepool.

It happened on Dunoon Road around 2:30am on Tuesday (4th April).

A large amount of cash was stolen.

Police say no-one was injured.

A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and he was bailed whilst enquiries continue.

Police have released descriptions of the men they want to speak to:

  • Male 1: Believed to be aged in his late teens,5ft 10” tall, wearing a black puffer jacket, black joggers and a face covering. He had blue eyes and spoke with a Manchester accent.
  • Male 2: Believed to be wearing all black clothing and a balaclava. He is described as being around 5ft tall.
  • Male 3: Believed to be wearing a grey jacket, black bottoms and black shoes and a balaclava. He appeared to be “young” in age and around 5ft 10” tall.

Officers want anyone with information or CCTV footage to get in touch.
