Four men charged after police discover the largest cannabis farm ever in Darlington
Officers found around 3,400 plants on two floors of an unused building

Four men have been charged after officers discovered what is thought to be the largest cannabis grow ever found in County Durham and Darlington.
Police were called to reports of the grow at an address on Valley Street in Darlington shortly after 2.15pm on Monday afternoon (April 25).
Once inside, they discovered around 3,400 plants spanning two floors of the unused office building.
The men, aged 25, 27, 27 and 22 were arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
They have since been charged and will appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court today (April 27).
A large police presence will remain in the area over the next few days.
