Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after car crashes into Wynyard shop
It happened last night at around 9.30
A 37 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car crashed into a shop in Wynyard last night.
At around 9.30am a black Land Rover Defender caused substantial damage to the Village Store - luckily no one was hurt.
The man is currently in police custody.
Cleveland police say "nobody was hurt in the incident, but substantial damage was caused to the shop and occupants of the flats above had to be evacuated."
