Boy hit with air weapon in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy was shot with an air weapon whilst waiting for a bus.

The incident happened on Fulbeck Road opposite Grasby Close in Middlesbrough at around 7.45pm on New Years Day, Monday 1st January.

The 13-year-old boy had a pellet lodged in his arm, which requires surgery to remove it.
