Murder investigation continues in Billingham
Emergency services were called to a flat in Kennedy Gardens around 6:40am yesterday (Thurs 25th) where the body of a man in his 50s was found.
His next of kin have been informed and they have been offered specialist support.
Two men, 56 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Officers will question the pair today and have stressed that that there is not believed to be any risk to the wider public.
Officers will be at various locations across the town today conducting enquiries and anyone with information or concerns is urged to speak to them in confidence.
