Appeal after Child is Involved in Collision in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision during which a 7-year-old girl suffered a broken leg.

The collision happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday 21st October on Orwell Street in Middlesbrough involving a Ford Fiesta and the child pedestrian.

The girl required surgery for her injuries at James Cook University Hospital.

Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Paul Dale from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 192000
